Fill out a PDF form.
Detects the real fillable fields in your PDF — text boxes, checkboxes, dropdowns — and fills them on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Open your network tab while it runs: zero requests. Your document stays yours.
How to fill a PDF form
- Select the PDF form — the tool scans it locally and lists every fillable field it finds.
- Fill the fields — type into text fields, tick checkboxes, pick from dropdowns and radio groups — right in the sidebar.
- Download the filled PDF — optionally flattened, so the values are locked in and print exactly as shown.
Forms are usually the most sensitive PDFs people handle — applications, contracts, medical and tax paperwork. That's exactly why this tool never uploads them. It runs on the same in-browser engine as our PDF merger, PDF splitter, and PDF to Markdown converter — the file never leaves your machine.
Filling PDF forms, honestly answered
No. The form is parsed and filled entirely in your browser — sensible for documents that tend to contain names, addresses, and ID numbers. You can watch the network tab while it runs.
Flattening converts fields into regular page content: the values become permanent and can no longer be edited or accidentally cleared. Turn it off if you want the fields to stay editable.
Your PDF has no real form fields; it's just a picture of a form (a scan) or plain text with blank lines. This tool fills genuine AcroForm fields — to type anywhere on a page, use our Sign PDF or Edit PDF tool instead.
No — XFA is a legacy Adobe-specific format that most tools (and most browsers) can't render. Standard AcroForm fields, which are the vast majority, work.
